The best thing about private instruction is that you can choose what and how you want to learn. You can choose your texts, I can help you choose some, or you can borrow some of mine (if they are available). Teaching one-to-one or in small groups, you have the option to:

• Beginner - Study from pronunciation, tones, basic grammar, useful phrases, practical daily language, and basic character reading and writing
• Intermediate - Learn elementary grammar patterns in different contexts, more detailed vocabulary words, learn about Chinese culture
• Advanced - Discuss topics such as business, academics, politics and traditions; and further study Chinese characters and radicals

While learning one-to-one is the fastest way to master the language, small groups of two or three students are both cheaper, and more interesting. Learn more about pricing here
